Spiritual remake This is not shot-for-shot remade out of the 1957 version of the same movie, but is is very close. The tweaks they did are not essential in any way, and the movie plays out the same way. Traci Lords does perform well in this, and more than pulls her weight. Other than that, this is the 1957 movie, just with effects slightly, but cheaply, updated. It brings nothing new to the table, but that does not make it less enjoyable.
