Synopsis

In the heart of Western Macedonia, where the fading sounds of a disappearing dialect echo, lies "мала чешма" ("Small Spring"). This documentary constitutes a personal reflection on the cultural heritage of the area and the connection to it. As the narrative unfolds, a local shares personal excerpts from the history during the years of the civil war in the region. Each element becomes a vessel of memory and reference, capturing the essence of a place on the brink of transformation. Every drop of water and every stone hide a story awaiting narration in a historically charged landscape.
