Love Begins in the World of If

At first I didn't think I would like this show since the main charcter seemed so dull and depressed all the time. But things took a turn when he was thrown into an alternate world. The romance was sweet and the couple adorable. So in the end I loved it and can only reccommend watching this one.

This is a six-part series about a guy whose company forces him to switch to a department that he doesn't like and has a hard time fitting in. One night he encounters a magic mirror and wakes up in a similar world, but one where he is accepted by his co-workers. During his time in this alternate reality he comes to realize that his attitude in the past caused much of his own problems and when he gets back to our reality he changes his attitude and his life improves. Although one could argue that perhaps the 'alternate reality' was really a dream. He gets into a romance with a co-worker and it does have a happy ending, although to me the romance felt a bit rushed and tacked on. I just don't think they had enough time to flesh out the story too completely. It was enjoyable and worth watching, but the focus was really more on his own personal journey and reflection than it was on the romance.
